The Lela Trust's main objective is to financially and emotionally support the charities we represent in this website, through fund raising, donations, recruiting volunteers and sponsoring a child. The Trust hopes to contribute positively to the lives of these incredible children. Domestic violence, crime, malnutrition, abuse and poverty is the sad reality they live in and where there is poverty, there is lack of education and ignorance that eventually breeds abuse.
You can help us to change that ! Get involved and give these kids a voice and the chance to rewrite their stories.
Remember all the proceeds from the sale of the "Over the rainbow" charity ebook will be split equally across the charities represented by the Trust.
If you are travelling to South America or Central America, you could make deep connections to the places you are visiting by spending a couple of weeks volunteering in one of these charities and inspire the children to continue with their studies.
You can make a donation or sponsor a child. Sponsors receive letters and pictures from their child and are able to be an integral part of their child's life.

A funny and touching account of Lela's adventures as a volunteer with the charities supported by the Trust. A journey which takes her through from living with a donkey "hard" enough to cut diamonds in Bolivia to goat shopping in Guatemala for her kids. An opportunity to reflect and experience the resilience and optimism shown by the underprivileged children and their families.
